Custom Web Development

Code That Is Written for Your Business

Custom websites and web applications. Not templates. Not page builders. Production code that runs fast, ranks on Google, and is built to last years — not months.

$5K–$10Kaverage cost for a professionally built small business website in 2026. We sit in the middle — production quality at fair pricing.
Why Custom

Do You Actually Need a Custom Website?

Maybe not. If you just need a simple online presence with your hours and phone number, Squarespace or Wix will do that for $15 a month and you do not need us. We will tell you that upfront.

But if you need a site that captures leads and routes them intelligently, integrates with payment processing, connects to your CRM, handles user accounts, or does anything beyond displaying static content — that is where custom development pays for itself.

The average professionally built small business website costs $5,000 to $10,000 in 2026. Agency builds start at $6,000 and climb fast. We sit in the middle: production-quality code at a fair price, with the advantage that you are working directly with the person who writes it.

When a template is fine

  • You just need your hours, address, and phone number online
  • You have no budget beyond $50/month
  • You do not need lead capture, payments, or integrations
  • A slightly generic look is acceptable

When custom is worth it

  • You need lead capture forms that route to the right person
  • You want to accept payments or sell subscriptions
  • Your site needs to connect to other systems (CRM, email, scheduling)
  • Speed and search ranking matter to your business
  • You need a web application, not just a brochure
What We Build

From Business Websites to Full Applications

Business Websites

From $2,500

Professional sites built around lead generation. Services, about, portfolio, contact, FAQ — all designed mobile-first. Not a template with your logo slapped on it. Custom code, fast loading, and built so Google can actually find you.

Typical range: $2,500-$8,000 depending on pages and complexity

Web Applications

From $5,000

Full production software with user accounts, databases, payment processing, and API integrations. Dashboards, portals, internal tools, subscription products. The same architecture behind ShowFloor.ai and PainOptix — applied to your business needs.

Typical range: $5,000-$20,000 depending on scope

Speed & Performance

From $750

Your existing website loads slowly. Maybe it scores 30 on Google PageSpeed. We audit the site, identify the bottlenecks — usually uncompressed images, render-blocking scripts, and bloated plugins — and fix them with measurable before-and-after proof.

Typically 1-2 week turnaround with Lighthouse reports

SEO Foundation

Included in every build

Every site we build includes proper title tags, meta descriptions, structured data markup, XML sitemaps, canonical URLs, and mobile optimization. Not an afterthought or an add-on — baked into the architecture from the first line of code.

Additional ongoing SEO work quoted separately

Payments & Subscriptions

From $1,000

Stripe integration for one-time payments, recurring subscriptions, invoicing, or checkout flows. We have wired up Stripe billing in five separate production applications — this is not our first time through the checkout flow.

Stripe is the payment processor; their fees are separate from ours

Hosting & Ongoing Support

$500-$1,500/month

We set up hosting that is fast, secure, and reliable. SSL certificates, global content delivery, and automatic deployments are standard. After launch, monthly retainer available for updates, monitoring, fixes, and ongoing improvements.

Hosting infrastructure costs are separate and typically $0-$20/month

How We Build

The Technology Behind Every Project

These are production-grade tools used by thousands of companies. We chose them because they are fast, well-documented, and will be maintained for years. Not because they are trendy.

Next.js
Framework — server rendering, routing, API routes, static generation
React
User interfaces — interactive, component-based, testable
TypeScript
Type safety — catches bugs before they reach production
Tailwind CSS
Styling — responsive, consistent, custom design without bloat
Supabase
Database — PostgreSQL, authentication, real-time data, file storage
Stripe
Payments — subscriptions, invoices, checkout, webhook-driven access

A note on technology choices: If your project is better served by WordPress, Shopify, or another platform, we will tell you. We do not force everything into React just because it is what we prefer. The right tool depends on your needs, your budget, and who will maintain the site after we hand it off.

How a Project Works

01

Conversation

We talk about your business, what you need, and what your budget looks like. This is free and takes 30 minutes. If we are not the right fit — maybe your project needs WordPress and not React, or maybe Squarespace genuinely makes more sense — we will say so.

02

Proposal

Within a few days, you get a written proposal with scope, timeline, and a fixed price. Not hourly billing that drags on. Not a range so wide it is meaningless. A real number that you can evaluate before committing.

03

Build

We build in weekly sprints. Each week you see progress on a live preview URL — not a slideshow, not a PDF mockup. You give feedback on real pages with real functionality. Changes get incorporated as we go.

04

Launch and support

We deploy, run through a launch checklist, verify everything works, and provide documentation. Hosting setup is included. After launch, optional monthly retainer covers ongoing updates, monitoring, and improvements.

Tell us what the site needs to do and what is not working today. If it looks like a fit, we will map out the next step and a real proposal.
